I don’t have time for a photoshoot
In the Bay Area, that’s not particularly surprising! That’s why we offer two session lengths. In as little as 30 minutes, you’re going to have a fantastic set of images to choose from!
What’s the total cost?
The total investment for a session + product package usually ranges between $650– $1,850 (plus applicable taxes). Visit our Pricing page for details.
Additional items include professional hair and and makeup services, and the option to purchase additional prints and digital files.
How long does it take to receive my final photos?
Your initial set of images are uploaded to on online gallery within 48 hours of a photoshoot. After you have selected your favorites, we spend up to an hour meticulously editing each image for you. This process can take up to 2-weeks depending on how busy we are. Once they are completed, we’ll provide access to your high-resolution digital files via your online gallery. Prints usually take about a week from date of order.
Can’t I just take photos on my phone?
Of course you can! In fact, we’re working on a guide for how to take better phone photos (stay tuned). But even with the latest technology crammed into those brilliant little rectangles of wonder, they’re no comparison to the rich, timeless high-resolution images you’ll get in our studio. Phone photos are great for the everyday moments, but think of these studio sessions more as milestones in your child’s life. And our prints are second to none.
How should I dress my kids?
We get this question a lot. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. When you book with us we send out a detailed email outlining how to prepare for your shoot, including recommendations on clothing and style. Also, feel free to call us during studio hours and we’ll do our best to consult ahead of time.
My child won’t stand still for 30 minutes!
Haha, we hear you. Fortunately, we don’t expect them to. We have found that some of the best moments come when kids are just allowed to be themselves. We let them run around the studio and blow off some steam, and we’re definitely not against pumping their favorite dance mix if that’s what it takes to get them in the mood : )
I’ve done this before at another place and wasn’t happy with the results
We’re sorry to hear that. We can’t speak for other places, but we do everything we can to make your Minimal Studio experience second to none. You’ll get to see the images as they’re being taken, and if the shoot doesn’t work out on the day, for whatever reason, we’ll give you a free do-over. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
